At Robotech, we use the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) environment, which promotes teamwork and core values, encourages proactive learning, trains problem-solving skills, facilitates concept retention, enhances communication abilities, boosts self-esteem and confidence, develops logical-mathematical thinking, and improves creativity and imagination. All of this with the goal of solving an annual challenge proposed by this global American organization called FIRST.
FLL is divided into two main areas. On one hand, a robotics and programming challenge, where participants use the LEGO EDUCATION system to create, imagine, build, and program a robot to perform a series of tasks and missions with maximum effectiveness to score the highest points within a set time.
On the other hand, a project development and presentation challenge based on a theme set by the organization, where participants research and identify a problem or need and find an effective solution. This is creatively presented at universities before a professional jury that evaluates different aspects of the work done.
This competition renews its challenges annually and organizes various contests at provincial, national, and international levels.
